KidZania

Woah, amazing! I must go there before I turn 18 . Yes, I've just turned 17 like a few weeks ago. Why don't they have adult version of this? To those parents out there, I will suggest you to bring your kids there as soon as possible. This is by far the only theme park that I've seen accesible by only kids ( till they are 17). It's also a good way to spark interest in your kids about their ambitions before they grow up. And look at those faces of these kids, they're all so happy. =) Go there quickly if you want to make a wonderful childhood memory for them. Anyway, just in case you're in the dark, this is a theme park whereby kids get to play the role of many occupations from doctors, news reporter, fire fighter to a cook. It's a great and fun way to educate them.

Gardens, Mid Valley Megamall

The Gardens is also a part of Mid Valley Megamall. It's like an extension or a sibling of Mid Valley.
Now The Gardens is owned by the same company under Mid Valley and is located just beside it. For me, it's like a classier version of Mid Valley, where expensive shops selling branded clothes, bags, shoes, jewellery and high end shoppers can be seen everywhere.

Well, aside from that, I have ventured into this unfamiliar side of Mid Valley before and I have encountered many restaurants that are quite worthy of a praise.

Fresca, located at the ground floor of The Gardens. It's a great place to sink your teeth into mexican food. For those who would asociate mexican food with scorched tounges and tummy aches would be completely shocked when they try the dishes offered here.

Who could ever eat mexican food without nachos? Fresca serves free nachos every fruday from 4-8 p.m.
Those nachos are served with creamy cheese and jalapenos.

Now, this my friends is a must try. The tortilla chips served there comes with a very unique dipping made out of guacamole and avacado.

Moving on to the next dish, Enchiladas. As you can see, it is served with a generous helping of mekted cheese covering a soft pita bread and stuffed with pipping hot and suluccent chicken. The mango salad shall not be missed also, as it has goat cheese and fresh mango, sprinkled with a tangy vinegratte.

Melaka

Malacca or better of known as Melaka, is located at the southern region of the Malay Peninsula.
Now, I have been there once for one of my relative's wedding and the only thing that I really knew about Melaka was that they had oh so boring historical buildings. The only thing that I really looked forward to on that paticular day was that, I wanted to try the famous chicken rice balls. I mean who wouldn't be?

Just around lunch time, we decided to head on to Jonker Street. They had a large array of shops and seemed that their theme colour is red. Shops filled with just about anything from small knick knacks to clothes and shoes could be found at just about anywhere. Being your average tourist, we decided to go ahead and try the famous chicken rice ball.

Now, this particular dish where the fragant chicken rice are just rolled into humongous balls is a must try. Obviously it comes with a serving of chicken either steamed or barbequed and some cucmbers. It also comes with a spicy chilli sauce infused with garlic. Many shops can be seen around Jonker Street selling this dish each with their own signature chilli sauce.
