Melaka

Malacca or better of known as Melaka, is located at the southern region of the Malay Peninsula.
Now, I have been there once for one of my relative's wedding and the only thing that I really knew about Melaka was that they had oh so boring historical buildings. The only thing that I really looked forward to on that paticular day was that, I wanted to try the famous chicken rice balls. I mean who wouldn't be?

Just around lunch time, we decided to head on to Jonker Street. They had a large array of shops and seemed that their theme colour is red. Shops filled with just about anything from small knick knacks to clothes and shoes could be found at just about anywhere. Being your average tourist, we decided to go ahead and try the famous chicken rice ball.

Now, this particular dish where the fragant chicken rice are just rolled into humongous balls is a must try. Obviously it comes with a serving of chicken either steamed or barbequed and some cucmbers. It also comes with a spicy chilli sauce infused with garlic. Many shops can be seen around Jonker Street selling this dish each with their own signature chilli sauce.
