Welcome to our blog! Now, why is it called FatRiceTourism? Oh well, "fat rice" is the translation of our national dish, "Nasi Lemak." It is a must try if you ever step foot into our country! :)

Malaysia, a beautiful country located Southeast of Asia. It consists of 13 states and 3 federal territories. Malaysia is separated into 2 similarly sized regions, Peninsular Malaysia and Malaysian Borneo. The capital city of Malaysia is Kuala Lumpur, located in Peninsular Malaysia.

Islam is the country's national religion, but freedom of religion is practiced. The head of state is the King, known as the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.The head of government is the Prime Minister. The country's national language is Malay, and its motto is "Bersekutu Bertambah Mutu", which means Unity Is Strength.

This country is multi-racial, multi-ethnic, and multi-cultural. It has over 50+ ethnic groups and races which live together in harmony.

There are many beautiful places and sights in Malaysia. We will personally be updating as much as we can, telling you about the wonderful places, sights and food available in Malaysia.
